I have an S1Digital Media Center with a Nvidia GForce 6500 GT video adaptor and a Samsung LN-T5265F monitor.
The monitor is set up 1920x1080x32/60hz via VGA connector.
The photo screen saver is set to come on after 1 minute.
The screen is to depower after 3 minutes.
The system is to sleep after 5 minutes.
Here is what happens:
When setting up the screen saver I see my pictures in the mini-preview. If I "preview" the screen saver the monitor loses sync. It seems the video output changes to a mode not supported by the monitor. The monitor displays "searching for signal" and "not supported mode". When I move the cursor the screen saver control panel is displayed. I never see full screen pictures. The media center slide show of the directory works fine.
In Media center, after 1 minute the screen flashes to black, then for an instant dispalys the windows desktop, then returns to the Media Center display. After 1 more minute the monitor loses sync. It seems the video output changes to a mode not supported by the monitor. The monitor displays "searching for signal" and "not supported mode". When I move the cursor - the Media Center display re-appears. I never see any photos. After 3 minutes the screen powers off. After 5 minutes the system sleeps.
Not in Media Center, after 1 minute NOTHING happens (no flash, no pictures, normal screen). After 3 minutes the screen powers off. After 5 minutes the system sleeps. Pictures are never displayed.
If I use the "Blank" screen saver, everything works exactly as expected.
Any trick to get this to work? Thanks!
