PC output for a TV

    PC output for a TV

    Hi everybody,

    I want to know if it's possible to play some files that i got on my laptop to the tv.  I travel alot want to know if i can use i can use mt laptop like a DVD players.   I don't have a S-VIDEO output on my laptop.

    That depends on what type of output your laptop has.  If it has DVI output, then you can get a DVI-HDMI cable and hook up to most flat panel TV's.  Many hotels are upgrading to flat panels now.  If your laptop only has a VGA output, you are much more limited in that fewer TV's have VGA inputs.
