    CPU Fan

    hey.

I got a deal a while ago on the hp 556... 2 bills! So I upped everything I could, put in a bigger CPU (Pent 4 3.2g), 2 G Ram, NVidea 8500 GT, hard wired in a 500G in the expansion area, added a couple chassis fans, etc. Got it top notch.

Anyway, I use Speed Fan to regulate the fans. As expected, when I rip a DVD, it gets hot. No big. But when I watch a DVD, I want it quieter. I tried a couple fans, and could not get them to mount correctly. So I thought I would ask here- is there a really good CPU fan unit that fits, does a great job, and is quieter than the stock fan? If you could link to it at newegg or wherever, I would appreciate it (just to make sure I get the right one!)

Also, what are the temps this runs well at? I have it at about 55% rpms at normal temp, and I have it step up to 75% or so at 60 C... what do you do? (It is a Pentium 4 3.2 g)

    Thanks!

    Dave
