    Guide: no data available

    Hi,

Since this afternoon, all the channels in my guide are showing : no data available.
A manual update is giving nothing more, even if MCE says the guide has been downloaded.
Yesterday evening it was working, and, without any mod, it stopped today.

I have try to retune all channels without any luck, I have checked in channel - guide association but all channels are correctly associated to the guide.
I have restored the computer to 5 days back, before the last modification without any luck.

I'm in France, if it could be of any importance.

Any help appreciated, MCE without guide is completely useless...

Are you using " TV Pack"?

    Re: Guide: no data available

    No, just Vista SP1.
I have restored a clean image of 10 days old. I had the guide for a few minutes, then a message saying "guide will be obsolete in less than 3 days, would you like to download it?". After having clicked yes, a few minutes later, a message saying "guide downloaded with success" and all of sudden, all channel went to "no data available"...

I think there is a big problem with EPG in France...

    Re: Guide: no data available

My system also lost all guide data today and I have been unable to fix it. In fact when I tried to redo the TV Setup, the scan for channels fails to find any. I tried selecting another provider, but it could only find two channels. I had been aware that there had been an update for media center and did a system restore before the update... no luck. I did get my tuned channels back, I can view the channels just fine, but there is no guide data.

Same at me. Maybe there is a problem with the guide in europe (or the whole world).

There might be a problem in a server. Guide works here in Finland. Is any way to find out which server Media Center is using ?

    Re: Guide: no data available

I'm in Ireland and it happened this morning. EPG has been working fine for the last year, and all of a sudden it's no longer working, that's irritating to say the least.

It appears to be working for me in Dublin, IE with NTL Analogue also.

    Re: Guide: no data available

What did you guys do, if anything, to fix the guide? I am in the US (San Diego, CA) and mine has not worked for several days.

    Re: Guide: no data available

I'm in UK (Freeview DVB-T) and since completing a fresh install of Vista Premium 32Bit have not had any guide data. Following SP1 and other vital updates I installed TV Pack. Everything reports ok except no PG data in EPG. Updating the EPG reports 'Download was successful'. I thought that I'd get the EPG that is streamed with every channel but ditto. Not seen this before using TV Pack except maybe the odd channel losing data but usually the same suspects (ITV1).

I did a sys restore to before the TV Pack went on then ran Media Center Setup again but still no EPG data. I undid the sys restore and still nothing. I hope everything will just kick back in.
